We will be pruning and tresselling our tomatoes this Thursday at the Okines Community Garden if you want to come find out more, see you at The Garden between 11-1pm this Thursday. ... Community composting in action, your waste is our plant food! This lovely addition to our compost bays is thanks to the clever action of our local Dodges Ferry Primary School kids at the recent community fete. It is a great step towards reaching (not) climate change goals. Imagine compost bins throughout the community and a purpose built bicycle with trailer to boot, collecting the cargo and riding it back to the community garden for recycling. Puts another level onto active volunteering!
